Short Bio

Dr. Matthew R. Kutz (Ph.D., AT, CSCS, CES, BCC, FNAP) is a Clinical Professor in Florida International University's Doctor of Athletic Training Program and President of the World Federation of Athletic Training & Therapy. A Fulbright Scholar to Rwanda and former Visiting Research Fellow at Gold Coast University Hospital, he also currently holds an adjunct appointment at Griffith University’s Business College (Australia). A TEDx speaker and Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice, he created the Contextual Intelligence Profile™, used globally across Fortune 500 firms, universities, associations, government agencies, churches, and NGOs. He is an award-winning educator and author of multiple books and scholarly articles on leadership and contextual intelligence

I am passionate about… My faith and family, finding good pizza, international travel, fine cigars, and leadership development.   The things I love most are… My wife, my grandkids (my sons are okay too), an ice-cold Coca-Cola and tacos. My favorite travel locations have been… Zanzibar, Australia, New Zealand, and The Mediterranean. Key life highlights... TEDx Speaker HGTV House Hunter International alumni, Been to over 20 Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives, Cage dove with Great White Sharks off the coast of South Africa, Snorkeled Great Barrier Reef, Trekked an active volcano to find endangered Mountain Gorillas in Uganda. “Competed” in over 20 5Ks, 10Ks, Half-marathons, and triathlons.
